Bacterial and fungal infection on tree roots has severe effects on tree’s health condition and structural stability. Current technologies and devices inspect trees by either virtual inspection or invasive methods such as comparing trunk sample drilled from trees. We propose to develop a non-invasive device that has capability to study bacterial and fungal transportation around the tree. This device can help us understand the correlation between transport motility and health condition of the tree.
